Today I've been thinking about a lot of different people and happenings that have helped me along the way with my writings and the desire to be an author.
Yesterday, at our local coffee shop in downtown Sylacauga, I had a book signing for my two books. In between talking with friends I've known many years to meeting new ones, I sat there thinking...I am blessed.
I never dreamed in a million years that I would be an author! I hope that my writings will encourage others to be kind, to be the best they can be, and to love one another. I hope that my Traveling Teresa character, a quirky 9 year-old, will help make a difference in how we treat others.
One of my favorite Sylacauga High School English teachers came in the coffee shop with his beautiful wife. I knew this was the day that could thank him for the difference he made in my life. These two people have made a difference in many lives and I am thankful for them.
Today... or tomorrow... or the next day... or whenever, tell someone how thankful you are for them.
I am thankful for all of you! Love ya!
